Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI) provides training  in the disciplines of :

• Air Traffic Services

• Electronics Engineering

• Communication Operations

• Aviation Management & Administration

• Rescue and Fire Fighting Services

• Electromechanical Engineering

The institute was established in 1982 to fulfill training requirement of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and that of the fellow countries of the region.  CATI  is accredited by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and is member of ICAO TRAINAIR programme. So far more than 900 courses have been conducted in which more than 7000 trainees have participated.

Medium of instruction for training is English.

Academic and other facilities at CATI

In order to facilitate training activities CATI has four schools equipped with modern training aids, 2 hostels for male trainees, separate accommodation for female trainees, club and sports complex, medical center, library and all other necessary facilities.
