NON DIRECTIONAL BEACON MAINTENANCE COURSE

OBJECTIVE:

To provide knowledge and skill to maintain, upkeep and operate NDB equipment within prescribed tolerances.

ELIGIBILITY:

·     Successful completion of ARM course or equivalent.

·     Knowledge of solid state and digital electronics with minimum experience of 2 years  on  Communication  system.

·     Good command to write and speak English language.

DURATION:   2 WEEKS

SUBJECTS:

·        Introduction and orientation

·        Principles of NDB operation

·        NDB operating procedures

·        Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures
